New research from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) indicates that artificial intelligence adoption has accelerated significantly across the UK construction and commercial property sectors over the past year. The findings are drawn from the RICS AI in Commercial Property and Construction Report 2026, which analyzed data from more than 3,100 industry respondents to assess current technological integration trends.
Despite the rapid increase in AI usage, the report highlights a critical challenge where firms are struggling to convert initial pilot studies into routine operational practices.
