Tenancy Info

In addition to rent, tenants may be required to make the following permitted payments.

Permitted Payments
Before the tenancy begins (payable to Victoria Repton Lettings, ‘the Agent’):
Holding Deposit: Equivalent to 1 week's rent
Security Deposit: Equivalent to 5 weeks' rent

During the tenancy (payable to the Agent):
A charge of up to £50 (including VAT) for requests to amend the tenancy agreement

Interest on overdue rent at a rate of 3% above the Bank of England Base Rate

The actual cost of replacing any lost keys or security devices. If the loss necessitates a lock change, the tenant will be charged the actual costs incurred for a locksmith, new lock, and replacement keys for all relevant parties.

Early Termination: If the tenant wishes to end the tenancy early, they will be responsible for the landlord’s costs in re-letting the property, as well as rent payable until the start date of the new tenancy. These costs will not exceed the total remaining rent under the existing agreement.
Payment of any outstanding rent or other reasonable costs associated with early termination.

During the tenancy (payable to third-party providers, if applicable):
Utilities: Gas, electricity, water
Communication services: Telephone, broadband
Installation of fibre, cable, or satellite services
Subscription fees for fibre, cable, or satellite providers
TV Licence
Council Tax

Other Permitted Payments
Any additional payments permitted under relevant legislation, including contractual damages.
